What "Stump Grinding" actually means.
Once a tree has been felled, the stump is usually ground out so the area can be reused. Our grinder takes the stump and main root flare to roughly 15–25 cm below ground level — enough to returf, replant or pave. The wider root mass is left in the soil to break down naturally over the following years.
